Paper Pulper

Paper Pulper is used for crushing virgin pulp (slabs or sheets), wastepaper processing, machine broke, deinking and pulp purification. It disintegrates the fiber by the action of mechanical operation. Among the raw materials waste paper processing is significant. Because in waste paper may be contains dust, sand, wire stapler pins, clips, nails, hooks, adhesive tapes, plastic tapes, string, un-dissolved coating and other foreign materials like asphalt wax, plastics etc. Waste paper should be free from these undesirable materials but some may be remains. If these materials mixed with the pulp and move towards into wire section; it must be creates some unwanted problems may be damage wire as well as poor quality paper sheet. Moreover centri-cleaner may be blocked, increase the paper web breaks, reduce the press felt and dryer screen performance. So the pulper has the ability to remove the contaminant.

The operation of pulper may be batch wise or continuous mode. In a batch mode operation it can be control the size, filler, dry strength additives, color etc by add a specific amount of chemicals in pulper. Surfactants are used for stock deinking. The associate chemicals of surfactants are dispersant, anti-foaming, caustic soda, Borax and sodium silicates. Dispersant prevent the ink to deposit onto the fiber; foaming agent reduce foam formation and other three chemicals caustic soda, Borax and sodium silicates enhance the action of surfactants.

The function of the pulper is to gently slush the recycled paper raw material into a pumpable pulp, suitable for processing in stock preparation whilst facilitating the efficient removal of contaminants from the pulp.

The design of the pulping and detrashing equipment must therefore satisfy a number of process requirements:
Slush down the recycled paper to individual fibres, avoiding fibre damage and minimize fragmentation of contaminants to enable efficient removal in the downstream cleaning and screening processes.An efficient detrashing system for removing contaminants in the first stage of the stock preparation process.
To meet these process requirements, a number of pulping and detrashing systems have been developed and are successfully in operation.

Pulper is made up of a cylinder shaped recepient, which has a propeller in the bottom part, which shakes up the sheets of Pulp that are placed in it. By means of the continuous rubbing of the pulp against the propeller, the fibers which form the bundle of pulp are separated, leaving a suspension in the water with a cosistency as per the requirement.

When the sheet is broken down, the pulper is emptied and the pulp passes through a grating which does not allow the passage of large fragments which have been insufficiently broken down. The pulp is deposited in a vat or drum for its subsequent use.

To meet these process requirements, a number of pulping and detrashing systems have been developed and are successfully in operation. We manufacture following differet types of Pulpers for different applications.
