Paper Machine Press Section
The main function of the Paper Machine Press section is to continue to remove water from the pulp fibers and to smooth the surface characteristics of the felt and wire sides (top and bottom sides) of the paper web running the length of the machine. The dewatering is carried out by a mechanical pressing of the paper layer against properly selected felts. The simplest construction of a pressing nip consists of two rotating rolls with the paper-felt sandwich transported between them at high speed. During the pressing of the paper layer against the felts, water is squeezed out of the paper and enters the felts. So the water content of the paper decreases to about 48-50% after the pressing section.We manufacture following various types of Press Rolls having different advantages.

Conventional roll presses are configured with one of the press rolls is in a fixed position, with a mating roll being loaded against this fixed roll. The felts run through the nips of the press rolls and continues around a felt run, normally consisting of several felt rolls. During the dwell time in the nip, the moisture from the sheet is transferred to the press felt. When the press felt exits the nip and continues around, a vacuum box known as an Uhle Box applies vacuum to the press felt to remove the moisture so that when the felt returns to the nip on the next cycle, it does not add moisture to the sheet.
We also manufacture Bi Nip & Trip Nip Press section which internals are constructed from SS 304 and Sturdy MS framing with loading levers. It is designed to maximise water removal, whilst efficiently transferring the web from the forming section the the dry part and increasing the quality of the paper.
